Rules and Scoring

The aim of the game is to score as many points as possible over 13 rounds.

Each round, the dice are rolled and then scored in one of the 13 categories. Including the initial roll, some or all of the dice can be re-rolled up to three times, after which it must be scored in one of the categories.

A category can only be used once and the score cannot be changed once it's been used. The game ends when all the 13 categories have been scored.

The categories and points available for each are as follows:

Upper Scores

Ones Only faces with a value of 1 are counted.
Twos Only faces with a value of 2 are counted.
Threes Only faces with a value of 3 are counted.
Fours Only faces with a value of 4 are counted.
Fives Only faces with a value of 5 are counted.
Sixes Only faces with a value of 6 are counted.

Lower Scores

3 of a Kind At least three of the dice must be of the same value. The score is a total of all five dice.
4 of a Kind At lease four of the dice must be of the same value. The score is a total of all five dice.
Full House Three of a kind, with a pair (ie 3, 3, 3, 6, 6). 25 points.
Small Straight Four consecutive dice faces (ie 2, 3, 4, 5). 30 points.
Large Straight Five consecutive dice faces (ie 2, 3, 4, 5, 6). 40 points.
Chance A total of all five dices, regardless of value.
Yahtzee All five dices are the same value. Scores 50 points.

Rolls that don't meet the requirements for the category will score 0 points.

Once the Yahtzee category is filled, any additional Yahtzee rolls receive a bonus of 100 points. If the corresponding category in the Upper Section has also been filled, these additional Yahtzee rolls can be used as 'Jokers' to fill a Lower Score and receive the maximum points available for that category.

At the end of the game, 35 bonus points are available at the end of the game if the total of the Upper Scores totals 63 points or more.
